Oak Hill Chapel was begun in 2001 by Dr. and Mrs. Carl Painter. They understood the importance of a Biblical worldview, and throughout their lives they encouraged others to explore the myriad of ways that Scripture applies to everyday life. God has brought servant-minded people together and is bringing faith-building times and events that make us stand in awe of His love for us.
Our mission is to raise awareness about pro-life issues, the truth of creation, and the need to understand God’s Word.
Jesus Christ is the reason we are here. The Chapel, the ministry, our very lives–everything is about Him and for Him. Colossians 1:15-16 sums it up this way: “[Jesus] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. And He is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything He might have the supremacy.”
